Terms and Conditions
BTaxi Shillong is owned by Babit Lyngdoh Rynthathiang, operating under the trade names “1. M/S Babit Enterprise 2. BTaxi.”
These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of the BTaxi Mobile Application ("App").
By downloading, installing, or using the BTaxi App, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.
The following terminology applies to these Terms and Conditions, Privacy Policy, and all Agreements:
"Client", "You" and "Your" refers to the app user;
"The Company", "Ourselves", "We", "Our" and "Us" refers to BTaxi Shillong;
"Party", "Parties", or "Us" refers to both the Client and ourselves.
1. Booking & Reservation
1.1 Booking Confirmation
All bookings made through the BTaxi App are subject to availability. Upon successful booking, a confirmation will be sent via app notification, SMS, or email detailing your reservation.
1.2 Payment
Payments can be made through the App using accepted methods such as credit/debit cards, digital wallets, or cash (as applicable). Payment must be made in advance or as agreed at the time of booking.
2. Cancellation & Refunds
2.1 Cancellation Policy
Cancellations should be made at least 8 hours prior to the scheduled pickup time through the App or by contacting customer support. Cancellations made within 8 hours of pickup may incur cancellation fees.
2.2 Refunds
Refunds are processed per the refund policy available in the App or via customer support.
3. Changes to Your Booking
3.1 Amendments
You may modify your booking through the App if it has not yet been processed by the Admin. Changes are subject to availability and should be done promptly via the App or support.
3.2 No-Shows
Failure to appear at the pickup location on time without prior notice may result in additional charges and cancellation of the booking.
4. Vehicle & Driver
4.1 Vehicle Types
BTaxi offers a variety of vehicle types via the App. While we endeavor to provide the vehicle type selected, substitutions with similar vehicles may occur.
4.2 Driver Behavior
Drivers comply with professional and safety standards. Complaints regarding driver conduct can be lodged through the App’s customer support.
5. Passengers
5.1 Maximum Passengers
Passenger count must not exceed the vehicle’s seating capacity. Overcapacity may lead to refusal of service.
5.2 Child Seats
If needed, child seats must be requested during booking and may incur an additional charge.
6. Luggage & Personal Belongings
6.1 Luggage Limit
Ensure luggage does not exceed the vehicle’s capacity. Excess luggage may incur extra charges.
6.2 Personal Belongings
BTaxi is not responsible for loss, damage, or theft of personal possessions during travel.
7. Delays & Force Majeure
7.1 Delays
While we strive for punctuality, delays due to traffic, weather, or other unforeseen conditions may occur. We are not liable for consequential damages from delays.
7.2 Force Majeure
BTaxi shall not be responsible for service interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, or government actions.
8. Privacy & Data
8.1 Privacy Policy
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy which details how we collect, use, and protect your personal data within the App.
9. Complaints & Feedback
9.1 Feedback
We welcome your feedback via the App to improve our services.
9.2 Complaints
Report complaints promptly through the App’s customer support. We will investigate and respond promptly.
10. Liability
10.1 Limitation of Liability
BTaxi’s liability is limited to the price of the booked service. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the App.
11. Jurisdiction
11.1 Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws applicable to the jurisdiction in which BTaxi Shillong operates.
12. Use of the App
12.1 Permissions
The BTaxi App requires permissions including Camera access (solely for profile picture) and Location (GPS) (solely for service functionality such as ride tracking).
By using the App, you consent to these permission uses as described in our Privacy Policy.
12.2 User Content
Users may post comments, reviews, or feedback within the App. You agree that your content does not violate any third party rights, is not defamatory, unlawful, or offensive. BTaxi reserves the right to monitor and remove inappropriate content.
13. Amendments to Terms
BTaxi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Updated versions will be published within the App or on our official website. Continued use of the App means you accept the changes.
